Did you know that Disney Cruise Line has acquired a new ship they will be adding to the fleet? Talk to your travel agent to get added to the list to receive information regarding the destinations and ports as soon as they are released!

One of the newly acquired ships is partially built and will be reimagined to fit with the Disney Cruise Line theming. The ship will be renamed by Disney Cruise Line. Do you have any guesses as to what the name will be? The ship is expected to set sail in 2025. This ship will be based outside of the United States. It will feature the signature funnels and colors of the rest of the fleet. World-class dining, dazzling entertainment, and legendary guest services paired with innovative experiences will be found on-board this ship. The newest addition is expected to be the first green methanol fueled ship in the industry. The new fuel is the lowest emission fuel to be used for cruise ships. The ship will be 208,00 gross tons and accommodate 6,000 guests and 2,300 crew!

The ship will be completed in Germany by the same company who built the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wish. Disney Cruise Line was able to acquire the new ship when the previous owner filed for bankruptcy on the incomplete ship. This project is not only great because there will be a new ship joining the fleet, but it will also secure employment for the employees that were tasked with building the ship. Not to mention the maritime suppliers who provide the much needed tools and equipment to build such an amazing ship.
Make sure to contact your travel agent and be added to their list for details on the ship name, the maiden voyage, itineraries, and experiences for this new ship.
