Many of you know the D23 Expo has been taking place over the last few days and many new and exciting announcements have been made! From new movies, to parks and resorts the exciting news has been incredible. Disney Cruise Line has some new and fun changes coming soon.
Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D'Amaro announced that Disney Cruise Line is bringing the magic of a Disney vacation to families in Australia and New Zealand. Starting in late October 2023 during a limited time “Disney Magic at Sea” cruises that immerse guests in Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars stories.
The Disney Wonder will be the first South Pacific voyages for Disney Cruise Line visiting destinations such as Fiji and Samoa. The Disney Wonder will be sailing “Disney Magic at Sea” cruises through February 2024. Guests can enjoy two to six night voyages departing out of four home ports: Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, Australia; and Auckland, New Zealand. Bookings for these sailings open September 29 for Australia and New Zealand and repositioning sailings open October 6 for the general public.

Another exciting announcement from Disney Cruise Line is the unveiling of the sixth ship in their fleet, the Disney Treasure! Also an update on Lighthouse Point, a beautiful new island in the Bahamas. This new ship will set sail in 2024. The design concept is inspired by adventure and celebrates Walt Disney’s lifelong love of exploring! One of the magical details revealed was the three-deck-tall atrium that welcomes guests on board that welcomes guests on board. The design and details will be paying homage to the far-off land of Agrabah.
