We have officially reached halfway to Halloween, it’s not quite Summer, but the late Summer and Fall festivities are ready to begin. I’m talking about EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE, a personal favorite of mine. We have a small tidbit of information including dates, Global Marketplaces, Merchandise, and more! Let's dive into this fun-filled event!
All of the excitement for the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE will kickoff on August 29, 2024. The event will continue each day through November 23, 2024. During that time, guests will enjoy food, entertainment, and are able to learn about different cultures from around the world.
Around the World Showcase and throughout the neighborhoods inside EPCOT, there will be a variety of Global Marketplaces. Each Global Marketplace inside the World Showcase will feature a menu from the respective country. There have already been a few items released, and they are fan favorites! The Belgium Global Marketplace will return with the Belgium Waffle topped with a Berry Compote or Warm Chocolate Ganache and Whipped Cream. Which waffle would you choose?
The delicious Apple Strudel with Vanilla Sauce will return to the Global Marketplace in Germany. A fresh, crisp, Passionfruit Cheesecake with Toasted Macadamia Nuts can be found at the Hawai’i Marketplace. These are just a few of the returning options for the 2024 festival, be sure to look out for a blog on all of the amazing Global Marketplace offerings.
Merchandise will always bring the Disney Parks fans to the festival for the fun new offerings. The teasers so far are an adorable Remy kitchen timer, A EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival measuring cup set, and even a new Figment Loungefly Backpack!
Three favorites will also return to the festival this year, Emilie’s Fromage Montage and the Eat to the Beat Concert Series, and Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak. Emilie’s Fromage Montage is found in the Festival Passport. When guests purchase any five cheese dishes that are listed in the Festival Passport and receive their respective stamp from the Global Marketplace, guests will receive a unique item. Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak is a fun scavenger hunt that can be done throughout the park. A map can be purchased at select locations, then make your way around the park to find Remy and his vegetables. Once completed, or before you even begin, you can return to the select locations and receive your prize! Eat to the Beat Concert Series is super fun! On select evenings, there are artists and groups that perform a concert.
