1. Purchase a Disney Vacation Package
One of the easiest ways to save on your Disney vacation is to package your trip! With Disney’s packages you can choose from Disney’s Deluxe resorts down to their good-neighbor resorts and bundle tickets for your stay saving upwards of thousands of dollars. Of course using a travel agent to help navigate this and help adjust package pricing if pricing goes down!
2. Pack Snacks
Whether you have purchased the dining plan (when available) or choose to pay for each meal separately, packing light snacks and water for in between helps cut costs. Small items such as fruit, frozen water bottles, and individually wrapped snacks will when the little ones are crying for a quick bite!
3. Buy Souvenirs outside the Parks
Are you driving? Perfect! Stop by a local Target or Walmart to pick up some in-expensive Disney merchandise! Another great location to pick up authentic park merchandise is Disney’s Character Warehouse located at 2 different outlet malls in Orlando.
4. Stay Onsite
Staying onsite saves the hassle and expense of renting a car. Whether you stay at one of Disney’s Value properties or Deluxe properties there are shuttles, gondolas, and boats to transport guests around different properties. Keep in mind, if you drive you will pay for Parking at your resort but will not have to pay for parking at the theme parks!
5. Travel during the off-season
Although Disney pricing is pretty consistent, traveling during non-peak times will cut down on resort and ticket rates. Ticket pricing also fluctuates day by day, typically costing more on the weekends.
