1. They have one of the most beautiful lobbies for a resort that I have ever seen. With a sitting area for children with small rocking chairs and a tv plus fireplaces to warm up by.
2. They offer three unique pools: The Fountain Pool, The Redwood Pool, and The Mariposa Pool- all which offer poolside bar and grill service. The Redwood Pool has two waterslides: one for the little ones and one for the daredevil in us. Cabanas are available for rent, but I would suggest doing this in advance.
3. Every room on the property has an amazing view. Whether you book a view of Downtown Disney, the pool or the theme parks you will not be disappointed.
4. There are some really great food options at Disneyland Grand Californian including: Napa Rose which offers a character dining experience with the princesses for breakfast. Storytellers Cafe which offers a character meal with Mickey and friends for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Craftsman Bar and Grill located near the pool.
5. The last, but probably the number one reason to stay at this resort is the accessibility. There is an entrance to Disney's California Adventure inside the resort and an entrance to Downtown Disney. These allow you to skip the line at the front of the park and avoid bag check there too.
