This week has brought quite a few announcements for Universal Halloween Horror Nights. Last week brought the announcement for the return of the amazing entertainment and two scare zones. This week has some even more returning items and new areas throughout the park.
Recently announced is the return of the very popular Chucky popcorn bucket! The 2023 Halloween Horror Night season gave us a Chucky haunted house and the popcorn bucket to go with the theme. It was so popular with guests that they’re bringing back the popcorn bucket for another season.
Another major request from guests is “lil boo” merchandise. You asked and Universal Halloween Horror Nights listed, there will be new merchandise featuring “lil boo.” Items like tumblers, t-shirts, and hats can be purchased inside the parks or even online!
Two new scare zones were announced this week meaning that we now have a total of four scare zones. There will be one more announced, hopefully soon! This release brings us Duality of Fear and Demon Queens. Duality of Fear is described with “as soon as you enter the gates of Halloween Horror Nights, you must choose a path: follow SINIST3R, the manifestation of visceral horror or follow SURR3AL, the incarnation of unearthly terror.” The next scare zone, Demon Queens, is described by Universal Halloween Horror Nights as “get caught in an otherworldly hellscape ripped from the darkest corners of your mind. Four merciless queens loyal to SURR3AL rule, surrounded by hordes of fantical followers.
The last, and certainly not least haunted house announcement features the lovely ladies of horror. Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines features Saskia Van Helsing, the bride of Frankenstein, and Dracula’s daughter plus She-Wolf and Anck-su-namun. Watch as they battle for dominance of the land. This sounds similar to the Universal Monsters: Legends Collide, where three famous horror legends battled it out, and a winner was announced at the end of the house.
