Now that 2025 has been welcomed, we have so many exciting and adventurous activities planned for the year inside Universal Studios Hollywood! From seasonal events to passholder opportunities and even special events that are coming to the park. Let’s explore what everyone has to look forward to for the 2025 year inside the park.
While nothing special happens in the park during the month of January, its time to recoup from going from Halloween Horror Nights to the Holidays. February and March brings a fun filled few weeks for Pass Member Bonus Benefits. With being a Pass Member you receive discounts on tickets, invitations to special events, and access to regular park hours all year long. However, from February 1 through March 20, 2025, there are food and beverage discounts, giveaways, and even some special Pass Member only events.
Did you know that Butterbeer has its own season at Universal Studios Hollywood? From March 1 through May 31, 2025, guests visiting the park can experience Butterbeer season inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The regular options like Butterbeer (hot or cold) and fudge will also be available, but there will be a few limited-time Butterbeer flavored treats and even some merchandise available for purchase!
In a previous blog post, we discussed the brand new Universal Fan Fest Nights! This is included in the events for the 2025 year and will be held on select nights from April 25 through May 18. These nights feature Star Trek, Back to the Future, and Dungeons & Dragons experiences. This event is a separate ticket. Discover Universal Blog describes this event like a “Halloween Horror Nights-meets-comic book/pop culture convention.” This will be a very popular limited time event, so be ready to grab your tickets when they become available.
The next fun experience is for those Pass Members again! For the month of May, Pass Member Giveaways take place! Those with an annual pass will receive a collectors item!
There is a new Summer event that will be happening between June 14 through August 10, but Universal Studios Hollywood has not released that announcement other than that there will be an event and the date range for it. Also during the summer is the Fourth of July Celebration. During the Fourth of July, the park will feature patriotic decor and that evening, there will be fireworks!
Back to Hogwarts, or back to school time is another fun event in the parks. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will feature school supplies, apparel, and more between the months of August and September.
Pass Holder Appreciation features limited time options like food and beverage, plus more savings and experiences that have yet to be announced! This event is held from August 15 through September 30.
Continuing through the season, Halloween Horror Nights comes to play from September 4 through November 2, 2025! Every year the houses get better and better, so I’m sure no one will be disappointed in the announcement of this year's house lineup.
One final Pass Member Giveaway for the 2025 year happens between November 1-30. Another collectable item will be given to each Pass Member. While December holds the last Pass Member Park Takeover!
The final two events for the year, Holidays at Universal and EVE are the perfect way to close out the year. The Holidays at Universal host Grinchmas and Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Trees, decorations, and treats fill the park for this spectacular seasonal event. EVE closes the year with a bang. This event features DJs, attractions, and of course…fireworks to ring in 2026!
