The time has come, the favorite day for all Star Wars fans. May 4th, or some call it Star Wars Day. This brings fans to the parks to enjoy Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to enjoy attractions, characters, and exclusive snacks for the season. With the fun-filled day being just around the corner, Disney World's official food, snack, and beverage list for this event is out! Let’s see what the parks have to offer for this year for May the 4th!
The culinary team has been putting together a few amazing options for guests that will be visiting. Most items in the parks will begin being served on May 4th and will continue throughout the rest of the month. Items like buckets and sippers are only available while supplies last.
For this year, there will be 11 new food and beverage options spread throughout multiple locations. Rosie’s All American Cafe, ABC Commissary, Fairfax Faire, and Backlot Express will all have the same offerings this year, including the Wookiee Cookie! Battle of Hoth Macaroon, which is new, is a toasted coconut macaroon that features buttercream, toasted coconut, and white chocolate. There are two different types of beverages, Chosen One Cooler and Sith Lord Libation. Chosen One Cooler is a sweet-and-sour citrus limeade that is served with a Skywalker Lightsaber while Sith Lord Libation is a cherry limeade that is served with a Darth Vader Lightsaber. Which side do you choose?
The adorable Lightsaber Churros will be available at Anaheim Produce, Ice Cold Hydraulics, Market, and other cart locations, but only for May 4 and May 5.
Other very popular dining locations like Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, Kat Saka’s Kettle, and Milk Stand will be offering two new menu items. The Mythrol Orb, something that looks to be from out of this world, is a blue raspberry orb that is served with a tart pineapple-passion fruit sauce and a side of crunch strussel. The second menu item is a Sliced Eopie Wrap. This consists of pita bread that is stuffed with roasted pork loin, capicola ham, a spiced broccoli rabe that is drizzled with an herb aioli and a side of yuca fries.
Milk Stand will also have new pretzel croissants that are served with a side of caramel-chocolate sauce that are called Kessel Run Rations. Over at Oga’s Cantina The Mythosaur, also a new menu item, is made with Minute Maid Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava juices and mixed with two types of rum and Blue Curacao liqueur which can also be purchased in a souvenir mug.
If you’re not heading to the parks, but wish to enjoy some special treats, Disney Springs will be the place to stop. Amorette’s Patisserie and The Ganachery never disappoint with seasonal and special treats. Amorette’s Patisserie will have the Choose Your Side Petit Cake on the menu for the entire month of May. It is made with cookie and cream mousse between layers of vanilla and chocolate chiffon. While over at The Ganachery, a new piñata is hitting the shelves for the entire month. The Anakin’s Starfighter Chocolate Piñata is made of hollow dark chocolate that is filled with a hazelnut ganache cluster or “astroids.” Ashoka Ganache Pop and Star Planets Ganache Barsa are also new on the menu.
