How does time in the parks with little to no wait for attractions, unlimited snacks (at no additional cost), and even characters? If you said “yes please!” to that statement, then this news is for you! Walt Disney World resorts has announced that Disney After Hours will be returning in 2024 at select parks on select nights. During the 2024 Disney After Hours events, guests will have access to the theme park attractions, character meet and greets, and complimentary snacks for three hours after the park closes to day visiting guests. This is a separate ticketed event, which means your daytime park ticket will not permit you to attend the evening event.
Beginning January 10, 2024, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will kick off the special event with event hours being from 9:30 pm to 12:30 am and held select nights through April 10, 2024. Following right being on January 11, 2024, Disney’s Magic Kingdom will take its turn to host the after hours event from 10:00 pm to 1:00 am on select nights through April 8, 2024. Then finally starting February off strong on the 2nd, EPCOT will offer the guests the experience from 10:00 pm to 1:00 am on select nights through April 4, 2024. Just like other special events held in the parks, guests will be able to enter the park beginning at 7:00 pm with their special event ticket and enjoy a little extra time. This also means that those special ticketed event guests will be able to enjoy those nighttime spectaculars in the parks!
I’ve touched a little bit on what guests can look forward to experiencing during their 2024 Disney’s After Hours Event, and I’m hoping you didn’t miss the important message of complimentary snacks! In years prior, guests were able to snack on popcorn, Mickey Ice Cream Bars, and bottled soda/water at no additional charge. While those complimentary snack menus have not been announced, I’m sure we can assume that it will be similar to previous years events.
Tickets for 2024 Disney’s After Hours Event will go on sale to Disney resort guests on November 7, 2023 and all other guests on November 14, 2023. Pricing begins at $155 and can be up to $175 per person plus tax for Disney’s Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. EPCOT pricing will begin at $149 and go up to $159 per person plus tax.
