If you have been to the Mardi Gras celebration at Universal Orlando before, this will be a brand new experience! This spring Universal is combining the 2023 Mardi Gras celebrations with Carnaval! Not only will you get Louisiana style Mardi Gras but you will also be able to journey to Brazil, Belgium, and more. You will get to experience a very lively parade, vibrant floats, catching beads, live concerts (on select nights), amazing food, and more.
The parade will include dancers, street performers, and authentic Mardi Gras floats with beads being tossed to the crowd. The crowd lining the sides of the parade route cheering and catching beads is an amazing experience that everyone should enjoy at least once! This is a great alternative if you can't make it to New Orleans for Mardi Gras!
Do you enjoy Cajun food? There will be plenty of cajun foods to choose from during Mardi Gras! You will also be able to find Carnaval Favorites from around the world at Universal’s 2023 Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval. Any self proclaimed foodie should visit to get a taste of food from around the world.
The live concerts will include Louisiana’s traditional zydeco music, including some of the biggest names in music to step onto the Music Plaza Stage.
