With the holiday season creeping upon us very quickly, many guests have wondered when Universal Orlando Resort will announce the opening dates of 2023 Holidays at Universal. With the official announcement came dates, events, and special activities!
Beginning November 17, 2023 and continuing through December 31, 2023, guests will be able to experience the magical Holidays and Universal Florida. Returning this year is the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular! This amazingly fun filled event is shown multiple times each day.
The fan favorite, Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s will also march its way through the park each day, weather permitting, and light up the faces of the guests day after day. Minions from Illuminations Despicable Me and other favorite characters will be featured during the parade with larger than life balloons.At the very end of the parade, the big man himself, Santa Clause will make his way to the larger than life tree and work his magic to light it.
The holidays are celebrated at both Wizarding World of Harry Potter lands. Diagon Alley inside Universal Studios offers a spectacular holiday performance by Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees. While Hogsmeade inside Universal’s Islands of Adventure has the Frog Choir and the evening display of The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle. Don’t forget to try the hot Butterbeer while the temperature outside allows for it!
Mannheim Steamroller, a holiday concert band, will also be performing inside Universal Studios. Their performances will only be on December 2, 3, 9, and 10.
One special that is surely going to sell out, the Holiday Tour, guests will be able to experience so many amazing things! Guests that purchased the Holiday Tour will receive an exclusive meet & greet with the Grinch and his furry pal Max, an after hours showing of Magic of Christma at Hogwarts Castle, reserved seating at The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular, a special meet & greet with Santa (which is not available to general guests), and priority access to one predetermined attraction. Also during the Holiday Tour guests will receive a reception of small plates, desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages. The tour begins at 5:30 PM, and each group has a limited capacity to help maximize the fun!
