I love that every few weeks I get to learn and write about one of my favorite things about the parks, the festivals! While EPCOT’S International Flower and Garden Festival is in full swing, behind the scenes the parks are preparing for the upcoming festival. Beginning July 27, 2023, one of the longest festivals that EPCOT hosts will begin and run through mid-November. 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival brings guests together from around the world to eat, drink, and be merry.
Our little friend Remy is back and ready for the family event, Remi’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak. This fun scavenger hunt can be purchased at a select few locations throughout EPCOT. You purchase the map and sticker set, set off to find the hidden Remi around the World Showcase and Global Marketplaces. Once you have found all of them, return to one of the selected locations for your prize! We love doing this when we attend the 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. The prizes are adorable, I still use my cup from a few years ago.
This year there will be over 25 Global Marketplace locations this year! And yes friends, The Fry Basket will return this year with the Fry Flight! Last year the flight included 3 types of fries; sea salt and vinegar, barbecue bacon, and sweet potato casserole. Do you think the same types are returning, or do you think they will introduce different sets? Either way, I’m excited to find out!
Also returning this year, later in the festival, is the adorable pumpkin scavenger hunt, Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit. This scavenger hunt is similar to Remi’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak, but instead of searching for Remi and vegetables, you will be on the lookout for pumpkins that are decorated like Disney characters! The process is the same for purchasing the map at select locations, and can be returned to those locations for your prize as well.
One of the most popular events during this festival is the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. In past festivals, there was a dining package that when reserved, at select dining locations, you also received a reserved seat at the concert that evening. The concert series has been announced for the return this year, but the lineup of performers has not been released yet. Check with your Marvelous Mouse Travels agent for the updates of the lineup, plus for assistance to reserve your dining package.
