More and more events and entertainment is returning to the Disneyland Resort in 2022. Since the re-opening earlier this year many fan favorites in entertainment have come back from Disneyland Band to “Disney Junior Dance Party!.” Even many holiday shows have returned including “A Christmas Fantasy” parade and “Believe…In Holiday Magic” fireworks at Disneyland park and “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!” street party and “Mickey’s Happy Holidays” over at Disney California Adventure park.
But it doesn’t end there! Disneyland is exited to announce an expanded “Celebrate Gospel!” Musical will come to Disneyland in February followed by “Tale of the Lion King” returning in the spring.
Just in time to celebrate its 50th anniversary the “Main Street Electrical Parade” will return to Disneyland! This spectacular show of nighttime lights will be bringing back the iconic train and drum unit featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Goofy, and proclaiming in lights: “Disneyland Presents – Main Street Electrical Parade.” This is a sight so many will be beyond excited to see again. The parade will have many of guest’s favorite characters, maybe even some of the originals from the early years.

For almost 30 years “Fantasmic!” has been a must see show and it will be back for everyone to enjoy soon. This is Disney longest running nighttime spectacular, filled with amazing, full of energy and even animated story telling. Mickey Mouse brings this show alive on the waters of the Rivers of America. “World of Color” will be gracing Paradise Bay at Disney California Adventure park this spring. This show is like nothing you’ve seen before. It is a unique combination of music, fire, fog and laser effects, with Disney animation projected on an immense screen of water. Disney and Pixar films are brought to life during this unforgettable and very colorful event.
Lastly, “Disneyland Forever” firework display will be added to the mix. Guests will feel to experience a breathtaking journey with surprising special effects during this amazing pyrotechnic show. More information regarding these events will be continued to be released. Not only is this the most magical place in Earth but it is an even more magical time to watch all of these iconic and loved experiences return for guests to enjoy!
