While the parks are not quite back to where they were prior to the pandemic, we are on our way! First we said good-bye to park reservations, and hello to all day park hopping along with dining plans. Now we have the announcement of a fan favorite restaurant, 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Guests will be welcomed back into the restaurant beginning April 10, 2024 with an all new lineup of characters. The dining room has been refurbished, and will offer guests a buffet lineup for breakfast and dinner! Exciting news! The Strawberry Soup will be making a return too!
While Cinderella, her step sisters, and lady Tremaine were favorites, only Cinderella will be returning to 1900 Park Fare. There is also a list of other characters that will be joining her, and it doesn’t seem like they will disappoint! While Alice and the Mad Hatter are not on the list, Aladdin, Mirabel, and Tiana will be there! Aladdin will be sporting his Prince Ali costume during the meals, and Tiana will have her new adventurous look from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!
Reservations will open for guests beginning March 5, 2024, just 36 days before the dining location will begin welcoming guests. Like mentioned before, there has been a refurbishment of the location, but the impeccable theme is still the same! The carousel theme is still very much present. The original 1988 antique organ, Big Bertha, will now be the focal point of the main dining room. Also in the main dining room will be 12 new paintings made by Disney artists featuring different Disney characters. The adjoining dining rooms will also feature carousels that are inspired by the movies “The Little Mermaid” and even “Alice in Wonderland.”
