Whether you are visiting the parks solo, a friend's getaway, or with your family, there is one thing for certain, purchase the Memory Maker photo package! It can be added on your Walt Disney World vacation package in advance which also comes along with some savings, but it can also be purchased separately or at the parks. This summer, there are ten new photo opportunities available in the parks! Let's find out what will be around and where to find them!

First up is the new Tree of Life photo that is at an all new angle! From a distance the PhotoPass Photographer will capture your photo from a distance and turn it into a fun video that zooms out from a close up shot to the back side of the Tree of Life. There will also be a feathered friend placed in the video that is holding a sign with the name of the park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Another amazing new photo opportunity at Disney’s Animal Kingdom park is a Magic Shot with Meeko, Pocahontas’ sweet and food loving friend. While Meeko is not visible while taking the photo, just like every other Magic Shot he will appear in the Photos section of your My Disney Experience app.
Inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there are quite a few new photo opportunities available for guests to take advantage of. Two new photos, all within Star Wars Galaxy Edge, is the perfect place for the Star Wars fans to pose with their favorite backdrops. One of those two are a video. Watch your photo back to see your lightsaber light up before your eyes! This can be found across from Oga’s Cantina during the day. In front of the Millennium Falcon is a fun spot to place Sabaac, which is a card game in Batuu. The fun can be found in the photo.
The next pack contains excitement from a newer attraction, Journey of Water inside of EPCOT. Here guests can “touch” the ocean, meet with Motunui and hawk version Maui, or even the Kakamoras. In addition to the new Moana Magic Shots, there is a new friend peeking into your photos over at The Seas with Nemo and Friends! Guests can find Hank the octopus from “Finding Dory” peeking from the corner of your photo while Dory, Nemo, and Marlin are behind you. The final addition at EPCOT is for our Annual Passholders during V.I.Passholder days. Those select guests can take a photo with an adorable Mickey shaped doughnut and have a special guest appear.
The final park with new photo opportunities is Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Once Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens to guests, the breathtaking drop will have a fun photo to commemorate the ride. A second photo possibility is right outside TRON/Lightcycle Run. Grab an Identity Disc and pose for a fun filled photo.
With one last stop to go for photos, did you know that there is a PhotoPass Photography area inside of Disney Springs? You can receive all of the photos taken here with your Memory Maker photo package too. Pose with a beautiful castle made of “sand,” fun colored beach balls, and even a lifeguard chair that has a cute friend! Watch out, Stitch might pop by in your photo with some ice-cream! Last and certainly not least is the larger than life DOLE whip!
